PlanAndGoHiking.com is a website for anyone interested in hiking. We aim to provide information that will help you make informed decisions about your next hiking adventure. We strongly promote hiking as a great way to exercise and connect with nature.

This website describes physically challenging activities in a remote outdoors environment. There are inherent risks related to hiking, mountain climbing, mountain environment and climate, adapting to altitude, relying on gear, and providing oneself with appropriate nourishment. Shipping/Handling and Delivery

We do our best to get the books to you as quickly as possible. We verify orders and shipment information upon receipt/processing. All orders received during any business day will be packed up and out the door in less than 48 hours. The actual delivery time depends on how quickly the package moves en route. All orders are shipped via UPS Standard Shipping including delivery confirmation for tracking purposes. On average, packages are delivered with 7-10 days with varying shipping costs based on your location. Expedited/Priority Shipping is available upon request and at a higher rate to cover the increased shipping costs.

Return Policy

We strive to maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction, including a guarantee of every book as it’s described on our website. You’re eligible for a refund within 14 days if you’re dissatisfied with your purchase due to an error on our part or if the book doesn’t arrive.

Reason 1: Incorrect Book/Not As Described/Damaged – You’re eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including original shipping costs, if your return is a result of an error on our part. To receive a refund, you must return your item within 14 days of the delivery date and in the same condition you received it in.

Reason 2: Book Did Not Arrive – You’re eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including shipping costs, if your book hasn’t arrived 30 days past the order date. If we have tracking information indicating the book has arrived, the return is void. In cases where the book is returned for any of the following reasons, the refund price includes book price only: incomplete address, unclaimed, returned to sender, or similar.

Reason 3: Changed Your Mind – We are happy to accept returns if you’ve changed your mind about a book. You’ll be refunded the price of the book (not including original or return shipping charges).

How to Initiate a Return: Before returning any item, you must e-mail our customer service department notifying them of your return. Simply contact our customer service department via e-mail at returns@planandgohiking.com, including the invoice number and reason for the return. Please mail returns to: Returns Department, Sandiburg Press, 3960 W Point Loma Blvd Ste H218, San Diego, CA 92110. Please put the original packing slip in the carton and wrap the package securely. Please use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for shipment. Return shipping is calculated as equal to original shipping costs. Your refund will be processed to your credit card once we receive the book back. We recommend that you use a trackable method of shipment. If the book doesn’t arrive and tracking isn’t provided, the refund will be canceled.
